What ClosetMuse stores

Your wardrobe pieces, outfit plans, wear history, preferences and selected photos are stored on your device. If you connect Google or Apple and use cloud sync, wardrobe content and garment photos are also stored in your private Firebase account so they can sync across your devices. Firebase authentication may process your user ID, name and email address. You may continue as a guest without connecting Google or Apple.

AI Try On

When you explicitly request an AI Try On, the person and garment images you select are sent securely to Google Cloud Vertex AI to generate the preview. ClosetMuse does not save those input images in its own AI storage. A generated result is stored privately for delivery and retry and is normally deleted within 24 hours by an automatic cleanup job. AI previews are visual approximations and do not guarantee physical fit or measurements.

Purchases

Payments are processed by Apple. RevenueCat processes purchase, entitlement and virtual-credit information so ClosetMuse can provide subscriptions and AI credits. Apple purchase records and the minimum RevenueCat records needed to validate purchases, restore entitlements, meet legal obligations or prevent fraud may be retained.

Optional analytics

Usage analytics are off by default. If you enable “Share anonymous usage data” in Settings, ClosetMuse sends a random per-install identifier, app version and content-free interaction events to Firebase. These events do not include photos, garment names, email address or account ID. ClosetMuse does not use data to track you across other companies’ apps or websites. You can withdraw consent at any time by turning the setting off.

Permissions

• Camera access is requested only when you choose to photograph a wardrobe piece.
• The system photo picker lets you choose images without granting broad library access.
• Add-only photo access is requested only when you choose to save an AI result.
• Notification permission is requested only when you enable wardrobe reminders.

Retention and deletion

Local wardrobe content remains until you remove it or delete the guest closet. Synced content remains until you delete your account. In ClosetMuse, open You → Settings → Delete account (or Delete guest data) to delete the Firebase identity, cloud closet, garment photos, generated AI results and AI usage records, and clear the local closet. Sign in with Apple accounts are reauthorized so ClosetMuse can revoke the Apple token before deletion.

A one-way receipt of a claimed welcome-credit grant may be retained to prevent repeated claims. De-identified analytics already sent and purchase records described above may also remain.

Service providers

ClosetMuse uses Apple, Google Sign-In, Google Firebase, Google Cloud Vertex AI and RevenueCat only to provide the functions described above. Each provider processes data under its own terms and privacy commitments.

Your choices

You can use the local wardrobe without connecting a Google or Apple account, turn analytics and notifications off, remove wardrobe content, or delete account and closet data in the app. For help with these controls, see the support page.
